Marian apparition · Knock, County Mayo, Ireland
Our Lady of Knock
On a rainy August evening fifteen people saw Mary, St Joseph and St John the Evangelist, with a Lamb on an altar, at the gable wall of the parish church. Not a word was spoken. Two Church commissions found the testimony trustworthy, and Knock is Ireland’s national Marian shrine.
