The Holy Corporals of Daroca
In 1239, before a battle against the Moors at the castle of Chio (Luchente, Valencia), a priest hid six consecrated Hosts in a corporal during a surprise attack. After the victory he found the Hosts drenched in blood. A mule carrying the corporal stopped at Daroca, where it is still venerated in the collegiate basilica.
